B Lab Standards (V2) – B Corp Certification
B Corp Certification is awarded by the non-profit B Lab to companies meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and legal accountability to stakeholders. The new standards (V2) replace point scoring with topic requirements phased in over time. FTS Impact Lab only helps you self-review readiness; it does not certify.
Criteria used by FTS Impact Lab
In the Assess tool you can check your initiative against each criterion below (met, partly met, not met, not applicable).
- Purpose and stakeholder accountability are written into governing documents
- Workers receive fair, living wages and suitable benefits
- Human-rights risks are assessed and managed
- A GHG inventory and climate action plan exist
- Resources and waste are managed with circularity in mind
- Equity, diversity and inclusion are advanced
- Ready for independent verification and public disclosure
Example indicators to track
- % employees paid at or above a living wage
- Scope 1–2 emissions and reduction target
- % women in leadership
- % waste recycled or reused
