FTS Impact Lab
A platform by Fly To Sky Charity Network supporting the direction, design and measurement of community, CSR and ESG initiatives.
FTS SOCIAL IMPACT
A structured starting point for community challenges that are not yet fully formed.
Many enterprises, organisations and partners want to create community value but often begin with only a broad need: education, health, livelihoods, environmental action, employee engagement, CSR or an ESG direction. FTS Impact Lab turns that starting point into a structured decision process that clarifies the problem, beneficiaries, objectives, resources, intervention choices and measurement approach.
Why was FTS Impact Lab created?
The largest gap is often not a lack of goodwill but a lack of structure for turning goodwill into an implementable programme. Users may know they want to support education or the environment but not where to start, who to work with, how long to run a programme, how much to budget, what to measure or when an observed result can reasonably be considered meaningful change. The Lab is designed to shorten that gap.
The Lab is more than a scoring form.
FTS Impact Lab combines four layers: structured master data; expert logic for programme and impact management; mapping to widely used reference frameworks; and AI-assisted interpretation and synthesis. Its purpose is not to produce an impressive number, but to help users understand where they are, what is missing and what should happen next.
Assess readiness
Clarify the problem, beneficiaries, objectives, scope, resources, risks, data and overall readiness before moving further.
Explore programme ideas
Generate programme directions based on impact area, budget, duration, location, beneficiaries and desired level of participation.
Design the programme
Turn needs into 5W1H, stakeholders, activity logic, outputs, intended change, timeline, risks and budget framing.
Plan measurement
Suggest baseline data, outputs, outcomes, follow-up approaches and evidence levels so that activities are not confused with impact.
HOW IT WORKS
From user input to an actionable direction.
Users are not expected to already know technical terminology. Questions are written in practical language while expert logic is handled behind the interface.
INPUT — Needs, context, budget, location and what the user already knows
STRUCTURE — Structure information using programme and impact logic
MAPPING — Map against SDGs, ESG, GRI, ISO 26000 and FTS master data
RECOMMEND — Recommend next steps, metrics, gaps and advisory direction
KNOWLEDGE BASE
Frameworks are decision aids, not certification labels.
The Lab uses structured data related to SDGs, ESG, ISO 26000, GRI and FTS impact metrics to support classification and recommendations. Mapping an initiative to an SDG target or ESG topic does not mean the initiative fully complies with a standard, is certified, or has proven impact.

How is AI used?
AI is used to support natural-language interpretation, context synthesis, follow-up prompts and clearer presentation. Core mappings, structured data and deterministic scoring logic are governed by master data and system rules rather than being left entirely to AI, reducing the risk of unsupported framework mappings or impact claims.
When should users move to direct advisory?
When programmes involve significant budgets, multiple stakeholders, vulnerable groups, complex legal or technical requirements, field assessment, formal impact reporting or real-world implementation, Lab outputs should become inputs to a deeper advisory process with Fly To Sky.
FROM LAB TO IMPLEMENTATION
FTS Impact Lab sits within the advisory and implementation journey of Fly To Sky Charity Network.
After initial direction is established, Fly To Sky can continue with deeper support: social responsibility and sustainability strategy, needs assessment, community programme design and delivery, workshops and experiential programmes, resource mobilisation and partnerships, community product development, customised gifts and supplies, and impact measurement, governance and reporting.

Core principle: support decisions without overstating impact.
Platform outputs are not ESG certification, formal GRI/ISO assurance or standalone proof that real-world impact has occurred. FTS Impact Lab distinguishes inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes and impact, and recommends appropriate financial, legal, technical, safeguarding and measurement review for complex programmes.
